To earn the title of President of the Macdonald Club, a representative must be the sales leader in Confederation Life’s world-wide organization.
If someone had to choose a word to describe Sam Seligman of Toronto-Forest Hill, it might be ‘active’ or perhaps even better ‘super-active’.
Mr. Seligman, the Association’s 1966 Man of the Year, is constantly on the move whether in the area of business, charitable organizations or his hobbies. He joined the Toronto-Forest Hill branch in July of 1962, and after just four short years has received the Senior Life Underwriter designation, is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Life Underwriters Association and is now working toward his C.L.U.
His extensive business career before joining C.L.A., almost 15 years as a distributor and manufacturer of ladies’ clothing, has been of invaluable assistance helping him to translate today’s complex business and personal problems into practical solutions for his clients. Since that time, he has turned his energies toward talking with as many people as possible, to educate them on the values of life insurance. Primarily, he concentrates his selling efforts on estate planning, group pension, group life and health and works for the most part with business executives and young professionals. An ardent believer that a satisfied client brings a strong referral, Mr. Seligman places utmost importance on the all-important facet of business – service.
Because of this, he labours long and hard hours, but has gained the satisfaction of knowing he is doing more for his clients as a result of his work habits than he could do otherwise.
To Samuel J. Seligman, his wife, Frances, their three children, two boys and one girl, we extend our heartiest congratulations for his pacesetting performance in 1965, our best wishes for many more successful years to come.
